Maurice “Fashion” Lee Lusk, age 71, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. 

Maurice was born on June 25, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee to Fannie Mae Lusk-Taylor.

Maurice is one of seven children.  He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee on Georgia Street before moving to South Bend.  Maurice graduated from Washington High School where he met the mother of his children.  Maurice was affectionately known as “Fashion” because he always “dressed to impress” and loved his Cadillacs.  He enjoyed watching movies and football in his spare time.  Maurice loved the Lord and attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church whenever he could.  He will be truly missed.

Maurice is survived by his brother, Terry Lusk; his daughter, Monique Harvell and his son-in-love Larry (Monique) Harvell Jr; his grandchildren, Alicia Easton, David Fleming Jr., Alexis Allen, Christopher Krause, Camren Krause, and Larry (Codi) Harvell III;  great-grandchildren, David Fleming III, Rhylee Saines, Daylah, Delaylah, and Divine Fleming and Camryn and Kole Harvell;  a special niece, Lakisha (Eric) Clay and two caregiver angels, Rochelle Quin and Makayla Pollins.

Maurice was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Mae Lusk-Taylor; his son, Christopher (Antonio G. Lusk) Krause; his sister, Berlinda K. Taylor; four brothers, Lawrence Lusk, Robert Lusk, Marcus Taylor, and Roderick Taylor and the mother of his children, Kathy Stearns.

Funeral services for Maurice will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home - West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN. Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
