Lisa Maria Jensen, 58 years old of Edwardsburg, formerly of South Bend, passed to her rest Dec. 24, 2022 at her home. She was born Nov. 7, 1964 in South Bend the daughter of Louis and Betty Borrelli. Lisa graduated from Washington High School and attended Ball State University for one year before she joined the United States Navy, where she served for almost 10 years.

While based in Hawaii, she met her husband, David Jensen. They were married on New Years Eve, 1990 in Honolulu. After the Navy, they moved to Edwardsburg. She was preceded in passing by her parents and her youngest brother Mike in 1988. She is survived by her sister Betsy Wable of South Bend, her brother Tom Borrelli of Manitou Springs, CO and her sister Torry Pal of Manitou Springs, CO, who moved to Edwardsburg to assist with Lisa's health and her husband David. She was a very caring aunt to, Vanessa Marcotte, Amanda Manasco, Marla Zelensky and Adam Wable. Her nephew Nathan Pal preceded her in passing in 2019.

There will be a Memorial Gathering for family and friends on Jan. 14, 2023 from 11:00-12:00 Noon at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main Street, Edwardsburg. At 12:00 Noon the United States Navy Honor Guard, assisted by the Edwardsburg American Legion/VFW will present Military Honors, at the funeral home.
