Mary E. Stygar

Mary E. Stygar, 86, passed away on March 9, 2006, at the Lorantffy Care Center, after a brief respite.

A native of South Bend, Ind., she had been a resident of Norton, Ohio since 1994. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. She retired from the South Bend Toy Co. after a 30- year career as a toy maker.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, John, in 2004, as well as sister, Helen (Horvath) Gish, and brother, Alex Horvath. Mary and John are survived by their son, Christopher (Brenda) Stygar, and grandchild, Francesca of Norton, Ohio. Mary is also survived by grandson, Christopher (Lisa) Stygar, and great-grandchildren, Audrey and Julia of Pittsburgh, Pa. Mary is survived by brothers, Louis (Joyce) Horvath of South Bend, Ind., and Rudolph (Marilyn) Horvath of Fort Myers, Fla., and sister-in-law, Anna Horvath, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A very sincere thank-you" to Drs. Amy Weidman, Thomas Kayani, Terry Gordon, Thomas Tsai, Moshe Adler, Donald Stone, Lawrence Geller and all their staffs, Summa HomeCare-- especially Sonya, the staffs at Summa--St. Thomas Hospital, Summa--Akron City Hospital, Summa Hospice and Lorantffy Care Center who provided such exemplary care of Mom. Thank you to the CVS pharmacist Greg and staff for all the extra care and effort they put into caring for Mom and thank you also to Mary at Lolly's Styling Salon for making her look and feel pretty each week. And a special thank- you to our neighbors for their concern and support over the years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. (ADAMS-MASON, 330-535-1012.)
