Theria " TJ" Jones, Jr.

November 23, 1967 ~ June 26, 2025 (age 57)

Theria “TJ” Jones Jr. was born November 23, 1967, a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with God on June 26, 2025, in South Bend, In., where he was raised by his parents Theria Jones, Sr. and Sandra (Finley) Jones.

Theria graduated from Washington High School in 1986.  He then attended Illinois Valley Jr. College.  He was employed with Gaska Tape of Elkhart for 16 years.  He later was employed with SSD Technology until health issues caused him to retire.

Theria was a true sports fan, he was a loyal Norte Dame fan, he knew everything about the Irish.  He loved his children and grandchildren.

Theria is survived by his loving wife Rhonda Jones, mother Sandra Jones, children Domanique, Autumn, Theron, Kwaudrianna Jones.  Darrian (Jonathan) Diggins, Armond (Kasey Jones) Danielle Jones, TaRhea Monix, and Rosalyn Bobbitt.  He was a proud pawpaw of 21 grandchildren.  Also, in-laws Jennifer Lenaries, Shirley Kirkland, Gloria Evans, Robert (Jonnie) Mincey, and William (Annette) Mincey, he truly adored all of them.  Also cherishing his memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. His brothers in love Sean Ward, Harry Mitchell and Randy Shelton whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his father Theria Jones, Sr. and many Aunts and Uncles.

Theria never met a stranger.  He loved having fun and being with family and friends

Theria was loved by many!

Funeral services for Theria will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
