Duane E. Wachowiak, 65, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Briarcliff Health and Rehabilitation. Duane was born on May 3, 1958 in South Bend to Edward and Gertrude (Machowiak) Wachowiak. He had been employed as a Telephone Technician. Duane is survived by his daughter, Angela McCann of Hayes, Virginia; three grandchildren; his mother, Gertrude Wachowiak of South Bend, Indiana; and his former wife, Susan Wachowiak of South Bend, Indiana. A Memorial Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 in St. Hedwig Church. Duane was a member of Z.B. Falcons Nest #80. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
