Ronald Dale Jenkins

Ronald Dale Jenkins, also affectionately known as RonDale, age 65, returned to God early Saturday morning December 3, 2022, in South Bend, Indiana.

Ronald was born to the union of Wardell and Mary Jenkins on January 16, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana. He was a lifetime resident of South Bend. Ronald graduated from Washington High School and attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. Ronald worked for years in the plastic injection and molding industry.

Ronald accepted Christ into his life and became a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized and was proud to join the choir. He also loved to hunt, always loved to teach anybody how to drive a stick shift, shovel snow, mow the lawn and really loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He also was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wardell and Mary Jenkins.

Ronald was a loving father and brother. Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Darnell Jenkins, Aaron Jenkins, Dawn Jenkins, all of South Bend and Blake Jenkins, Phoenix, Arizona. Two sisters Sharon (Richard) Blackmon of Chicago, Illinois, Cynthia (Warren) Williams of Ellerslie, Georgia, and one brother Darryl (Marci) Jenkins of Grand Rapids Michigan. His grandchildren Darnell Jr., Felisha, Amani, Amari, Aseari, Alonni, and Amelia, two great grandchildren Nyla, and Aniyah along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial Service to be held 11:00 am Saturday December 10, 2022, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 24393 Filmore Rd. South Bend, Indiana 46619. Friends may gather with the family one hour before services. Private Burial Highland Cemetery Monday, December 12, 2022.
