WALKERTON - Ernest D. Hummel, 49, passed away on Monday, June 8th, at 2:17 p.m. in his residence. He is survived by his children, Hannah and Kyle Hummel of North Liberty; sisters, Carol Kovacevich and Naomi Smith, both of South Bend; and his half sister, Melissa Hummel of South Bend. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. today in Blissville Church of the Brethren, 6250 Spruce Trail, Plymouth. St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, is assisting the family.
