Christopher S. Evans

Christopher S. Evans, 58 years old, passed away at 3:07 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Chris was born on April 17, 1966 in Great Falls, Montana to the late William and Patricia (Neal) Evans.  He formerly worked for Tru-Green as a technician for over 15 years.  Chris was a graduate of Washington High School.

Chris is survived by his son, Ryan Evans of Wabash, IN; daughter, Kelly (Eric) Hayden of South Bend; three grandchildren, Dylan, Lilly, and Liam Hayden; sisters, Shelly Lappin, Lisa Coleman and Betsy Evans; and two brothers, Kevin Evans and Neal Evans.  Chris is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Mikayla Evans, Jessica Evans, Rachael Bowering, and Jamie Rhodes.  Along with his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his two brothers, Brian and Steve Evans.

There will be no services or visitation.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Christopher Evans may be donated to Palmer Funeral Home, 3718 S.
