John David Delgado

John D. Delgado, 40, of Echo Drive, South Bend, Ind., died at 5:23 a.m. Saturday, July 24, in Memorial Hospital.

John was born Jan. 28, 1964, in Saginaw, Mich., to Joseph and Mary (Martinez) Delgado of South Bend, who survive. On Dec. 1, 2001, in South Bend, John married Mary Ellen Camblin-Martin, who survives, along with a daughter, Lauren Delgado at home; three sons, Chris, Michael and Aaron Delgado at home; a stepson, Peter (Jill) Martin of South Bend; two sisters, Yolanda (George) Aldorondo of South Bend and Amanda (Jesse) Huerta of South Bend; a brother, Joseph (Karyn) Delgado of South Bend; and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Moe (Marty) Aronson of South Bend. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

John worked as a custodian for the South Bend Community School Corporation for 17 years, most recently at Edison School. He attended Christian Center Church, and was a 1983 graduate of Washington High School.
