SOUTH BEND Michael Wilson, 42, of 824 Almond Court, expired at 11:39 p.m. on Friday, April 10, in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. He was born on May 26, 1955, in South Bend, to Bernice and the late James Wilson, who preceded him in death. Michael was a graduate of Washington High School, South Bend, and later graduated from Wyoming Technical College in Laramie, Wyo.

He was a former instructor at Ivy Technical College, South Bend, and at the time of his death was employed at Fred's Transmission. He was raised up in a Christian family and professed his faith in Christ at an early age.

On Dec. 26, 1997, he married Rose Mitchell, who survives. He is also survived by his loving mother, Mrs. Bernice Billingsley of South Bend; a daughter, Katrina Wilson, also of South Bend; six brothers, James Wilson of South Bend, Reginald, Fred, Benjamin and Victor Wilson, and Eddie Sawyer, all of Ford Heights, Ill.; aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews; and by many friends.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday in the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Clark Funeral Chapel
