Robert Lee Roseman, Jr.
July 22, 1954 - April 16, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Mr. Robert Lee Roseman, Jr., 43, was born to the late Robert Roseman, Sr., and Arlene Roseman in South Bend, Ind., on July 22, 1954. He passed away on Thursday, April 16, at St. Claire Hospital in Lakewood, Wash.
Robert moved to Tacoma, Wash., in 1989 and attended Our Lady Holy Rosary Church. He was a physical education elementary teacher at Thompson Elementary School in Spanaway, Wash. Robert was very involved in the community and school. He devoted a lot of his time to the youth, and provided guidance and counseling which was his calling in life. Robert was a loving person and had a genuine concern for people.
He was always striving to make himself and those around him better. Robert started the Unicycle Club at Thompson Elementary in 1995, served on the board of the MetroPark Special Population Advisory Board, coached Special Olympics in South Bend, was a member of Washington and Indiana Officials Association, and was a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Robert graduated from Indiana University in 1985 and received his Master's degree in 1993 from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Arlene; three brothers, James (Bettye) of Matteson, Ill., Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael of South Bend; a sister, Barbara of South Bend; a special friend, Karen LeBeau; two nephews and two nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, friends and loved ones
