Linda (Przybysz) Pawelski-Bragg, 71 years old, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the Brickyard Fountainview Nursing Home in Mishawaka.
Linda was born on March 12, 1954 in South Bend, to the late Alex and Dolores (Nowicki) Przybysz. On December 8, 1973, Linda married the love of her life, Harry C Pawelski, who passed away in 2006.
Linda is survived by her children Jennica (Brian Anthony) Begor, Elliott Pawelski, and Matthew (Heidi) Pawelski; her twin granddaughters: Lily and Ava; siblings, Connie (Jim) Ebel, Joseph (Cathy) Przybysz, Alex "Butch" (Sheila) Przybysz, Richard (Steve Williams) Pryzbysz, and Patricia (Steve) Zmyslo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda graduated from Washington High School in 1973. She went on to work as a preschool teacher’s aide at Holy Family, where she spent 15 years nurturing and supporting young children, which she loved. Linda also had a fascination with medicine, which led her back to school to earn her degree as a CNA. Outside of her work, Linda had many passions. She loved art and crafts, especially helping her kids and grandkids with creative projects. She enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful cook, well known for her big Sunday breakfasts that brought everyone together.
Visitation for Linda will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Joseph Funeral Home. Linda will be laid to rest next to her loving husband at a later date.
