Vicki L (Johnson) Burger, 70, a lifelong resident of South Bend passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2026, at her home after an illness.
Vicki was born on Juily 12, 1955 in South Bend to the late Ferrell and Bertie (Tucker) Johnson.
Vicki graduated from Washington High School in 1973 and spent her career at Indiana Bell as a telephone operator where she retired. She was a faithful member of the VFW. And an avid collector of Vera Bradley.
Vicki married Donald Burger and the two shared their love until his passing in 2014.
Vicki is survived by her siblings; Brenda (Felipe) Hernandez and Chuck Johnson as well as her niece, Angel Forester, and sister-in-law Ruthine Johnson, and many other close friends and relatives as well as nieces and nephews.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don, her brother, Ferrell Johnson Jr.
In honoring her wishes, no services will be held but she will be interred with her husband at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty.
