Surrounded by family, Connie Sue Erickson, 66, passed away September 7, 2022 in Elkhart, Indiana.

Born September 12th, 1955 in South Bend, IN to the late Richard and Erika Trowbridge, Connie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother whose strength and heart touched everyone who knew her. 

Connie married Warren Williams on August 14, 1993 in Granger, IN. Over their 30 years together, they raised five children, enjoyed visiting casinos and besting the penny-slots (and buffets), and always rooted for their favorite teams — Notre Dame, the Chicago Cubs, and any team their kids or grandkids played for. Connie found the most joy in spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Whether it was mini-golf, cards, Scrabble or a challenging jigsaw puzzle, she never let anything—or anyone—defeat her. 

Connie is survived by her husband, Warren Williams of Elkhart, IN; her daughter, Kelsey (Steven) Sorenson of Granger, IN; her sons, Dan (Nancy) Erickson of Grand Rapids, MI; Mike (Jaime) Erickson of Apex, NC; Christopher Williams of Pensacola, FL; and Nicholas Williams of South Bend, IN; along with her sister, Julie (Mike) Helman of South Bend, IN. Connie was blessed with six beautiful grandchildren: Sophie Erickson, Paul Erickson, Luka Erickson, Dylan Erickson, Homer Williams, and Reese Sorenson. Along with her Parents, Connie was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Harper Sorenson and Rowen Williams, and her first husband, William Erickson. Please join us in celebrating Connie’s life during a visitation from 4pm-6pm Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer North Chapel 17033 Cleveland Rd.
