Woodrow J. Hyde Jr.

Woodrow J. Hyde Jr., 30, who resided on North Lafayette Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 1999, in Memorial Hospital. Woodrow was born on May 8, 1969, in South Bend to the union of Woodrow John and Clara Mae (Thomas) Hyde. He was a lifetime area resident graduating from Washington High School in 1987. He was employed by Pizza Hut as a driver.
Loving family member who will cherish his memory include a son, Robert Woodrow Anthony Hyde; his mother, Clara Mae Hyde; his father, Woodrow John (Dorothy) Hyde, Sr.; five sisters, Emma Jean (Maurel) Etienne, Mary Ann (Cedric) Moodie, Glora Dean Eddins, Peggy Ann (Kevin) Catchingts and Jeanice Marie (Eric) Lee; four brothers, Lorenzo Barnes and Ernest (Rozetia) Eddins, all of South Bend, and Larry (Nancy) Eddins and Thomas Eddins Jr., both of Mark Tree, Arkansas; his fiancé, Julie Wesolowski; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Barnes, both of South Bend; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A brother, Robert Barnes, preceded him in death.
Woodrow was a member of Peter's Rock Church, a former drummer in the Navarre School band, a former little league coach and loved basketball.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alford's Mortuary with interment following in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Alford's Mortuary where arrangements are being handled.
