SOUTH BEND - Lynn L. "Bud" Holston Jr., 57, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, in his home of a heart attack. Survivors include his wife, Deborah K. (Woods); daughters, Laura K. Holston and Elizabeth E. Holston, both of Mishawaka; his mother, Mary D. Baer of Silver Springs, FL; sisters, Sharon Holston of Silver Spring and Patricia Stratton of South Bend; and brothers, Johnnie K. and Drew L., both of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hanley & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Bud attended the same schools I did from grade school at Lydick Elementary School through Washington HS. We lived on the same country road and rode the same big yellow school bus. He was shy and an extremely nice guy. He married Debby Woods, who was a WHS graduate in our class of 1968. Bud's picture appears in the 1966 Memory Lane (our sophomore year), but I don't see his photo in any of the others. Barbara (Basham from home) St.-Pierre was a good friend of his wife's, Debby Woods Holston so Barbie might know more particulars about Bud. Caryn Wiggins
