Misty D. (Minton) Hale
June 7, 1964 ~ September 12, 2025
Misty D. Hale, residing in South Bend, passed away peacefully while in the care of her loving family at her home on Friday evening, September 12, 2025. She was 61 years old.
She was born June 7, 1964 in South Bend, a daughter of Paul E. & LaDonna K. (Morris) Minton, Sr. and was a graduate of Washington High School.
On December 17,1983 at Christ Temple Apostolic in South Bend, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Darrell F. Hale. They have enjoyed more than 41 years of love and laughter, along with prayer and ministry together. Along with her husband Darrell, she is survived by her mother LaDonna Minton of North Liberty, her daughter Brandie Hale of South Bend, her son and daughter-in-law, Travis & Jessica Hale of South Bend, and three grandchildren, Aaliyah, Neil, and Kash. Also surviving is her sister, Shelly K. (Brent) King of North Liberty, and her brothers Paul E. Minton, Jr., of Mishawaka, and Tom Minton of North Liberty.
Sister Hale liked to travel, was known for her laughter and having fun. She loved taking care of her home and family. She spent many years working for Kare Free Cleaning. She was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church in South Bend where she served alongside her husband in ministry.
Family and friends may gather from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Pentecostal Apostolic Church, 59366 Mayflower Road, and again on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from noon-1:00 p.m.
Services will be at 1:00p.m. Wednesday, Sept.17 at the Church. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Contributions in memory of Sister Hale may be offered to the Church.
