On Saturday, March 16, 2024, the world lost a radiant soul, Sharon Augusta White, who was born on June 8, 1963, in Chicago, IL, USA. Sharon had a spirit that was both ambitious and inspiring, her zest for life was infectious, and she was treasured by all who knew her.

She resided in South Bend, Indiana, where she devoted her time and talents as an Activities Director in a Nursing Home. Sharon was a loving woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was passionate about spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, crafting, and experiencing different cultures through their music and food. Always the life of the party, Sharon's vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and anything she cooked was delicious and comforting.

As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside." Sharon lived this quote to its fullest, filling our lives with love and good food. Sharon was a beacon of strength, joy, and laughter throughout our lives.

Her warmth and unwavering loyalty made her not just a mother, sister, or aunt but a cherished friend. Her legacy will live on through her three daughters Monique Moore, Ariyan White, and Erica White along with her 3 grandsons Elijah, Amir, Jhakri and grand daughter Imani also a host of nieces and nephews will remember her as a loyal companion, a source of inspiration, and a pillar of love and support. She was widowed after the passing of her loving husband, Eric White. Sharon is preceded by her parents, August and Sadie Moore. Along with her sisters, Della Kowalski and Jewelett Hill. She is also preceded by her nephews August and Donald Golladay, and niece, Rhonda Hill.

Sharon's life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 12:00pm EST at Bethlehem Baptist Missionary Baptist, 24393 Fillmore Rd, South Bend, Indiana, 46619.

As we say our final farewells, we remember Sharon as a shining example of strength, loyalty, and love, whose memory will forever reside in our hearts. As Maya Angelou wrote, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Sharon left a profound impact on us, made us feel loved and special, and her legacy will inspire us forever. We are truly blessed to have experienced her beautiful vibrant spirit.
