Jon Paul James Senour - Class Of 1984 VIEW PROFILE

Jon Paul James Senour, 55-years old, of South Bend, Indiana, was tragically killed in a random act of violence in South Bend on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Jon was born to the union of James and Sharon Senour on September 9, 1966, in South Bend, Indiana. He is survived by his Father James (Marilyn) Senour Jr. of South Bend, IN and Mother Sharon (Edward) Sajdak of Largo, Fl. Surviving siblings, James (Carol) Senour of Lakeville, IN, Joshua (Alicia) Senour of North Liberty, IN, Sarah Senour of South Bend, IN and Jillian, Dylan and Nina Sajdak of St. Petersburg, Fl. Children include; Makayla Matson and Matthew Walter of Mishawaka, IN,  Samantha (Logan) Mead of Berrien Springs, MI and Joseph Johnson of Grand Rapids, MI.  One grandchild, Isaac Jaffe of Mishawaka, IN. Cherished nieces and nephews include Ashley (Brad) Sherman, Stephanie Senour, Melanie (Shawn) Houser, Aurorah Senour-Swartz, and Gabriel Senour. Great nieces and nephews included Carson and Evelyn Sherman, Gavin Kocsis, Adelynn, and Jaxon Houser. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and close friends.

A son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend that was deeply loved, will be missed, and left a large hole in a lot of hearts. Jon resided in South Bend his whole life, attending Washington High School and working at or helping the family-owned business Senior Tool and Die was important to him. Over the last several years he became skilled at scrapping metal out for others and rehabbing several homes that he owned. He was the cool uncle, often riding into family events on his Harley Davidson. Jon never met a soul that he did not think he could help, often putting himself in harm’s way to help the less fortunate. Tragedy struck on Wednesday, but what Satan meant for evil, the family believes that God will turn to good.

Jon will be cremated and laid to rest at South lawn Cemetery. There will be a graveside service to bury the ashes at South Lawn Cemetery at 3:00 P.M.followed by a “Celebration of Life” on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Palmer Complex in Lakeville, IN from 3:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a meal provided.
