Karen B. (Wisneski) Meszaros

SOUTH BEND - Karen B. Meszaros, 52, passed away at 9:04 am Tuesday, February 10, 2015, in Chicago Hospital surrounded by her family.

Karen was born on March 25, 1962, in South Bend, to Robert and Florence (Egyhazi) Wisneski. Karen was employed by South Bend Medical Foundation for 27 years. She loved her children, gardening, the outdoors, nature and was a NASCAR, Notre Dame and Minnesota Vikings fan.

On October 22, 1994, in South Bend, she married Joseph C. Meszaros, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Joseph A. Meszaros and Luke C. Meszaros, both at home; her mother, Florence "Cookie" Wisneski of South Bend; mother-in-law, Betty Geiger of South Bend; two sisters, Lori (Alan) Palmer and Jeani Wisneski, both of South Bend; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 1 :00 am Monday, February 16, 2015, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 2-6 Sunday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm.
