Edward J. Van Kassen

Edward J. Van Rassen, 43. of 517½ S. Michigan St.. died at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 30, 1973, in Memorial Hospital after an illness of one month. Born July 26, 1929, in South Bend, he is survived by his mother. Mrs. Mabel VanRassen of South Bend, two brothers, Frank of South Bend and Fred of Toledo. Ohio: and two sisters. Mrs. Patricia Moore of South Bend and Mrs.Mary Ann Johnson of Cassopolis, Mich.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. where; seryices will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Rev. James D. Jones, associate pastor of Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. 

Mr. Van Rassen had been an employee of the U.S. Post Office here.
