Frieda R. (Kurczewski) Fuchs

Frieda R. Fuchs, 56, of 117 W. North Shore Drive, died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan 29, 1987, in her home after an illness. Mrs. Fuchs was employed by South Bend Community School Corp. as a teacher at Adams High School.

She was born June 25, 1930, in South Bend and was a lifelong s area resident. On Jail. 30, 1952, in South Bend, as Frieda Kurz, she married Harry Fuchs, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Andrew and Kurt, both of South Bend; and a sister, Lillian Ray of South Bend.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Church at the University of Notre Dame. Cremation will take place. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7:15. She was a member of Log Chapel Prayer Group and a graduate of Saint Mary's College and Notre Dame.
