Harry T. Homeleski

Harry T. Homeleski, age 92 of Granger passed away October 16, 2022 in Fishers, Indiana. Harry was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 30, 1930 to the late Alexander and Anna (Roswalski) Homeleski. Harry was a graduate of Washington High School and worked for Bowlmore Lanes and later in the kitchen at the YMCA. In 1948, Harry enlisted in the US Navy where he served as an EMP2 onboard the Leyte CVB Aircraft Carrier 22. He was honorably discharged in 1952 and joined the Naval Reserves as an electrician from 1954-1958. Following his time in the service, Harry worked for Ball Band (Uniroyal) before taking a position with AT&T, retiring in 1987. Harry was also a member of the PNA Post 83.

He is survived by his daughters Diane (Baron) Biedenweg of Angola, Indiana, Becky Merriman of Mooresville, Indiana, Debbie Brenneman of Mishawaka, Indiana and Linda (Mark) Claeys- Sevy of Granger, Indiana. Surviving as well are 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, his nephew Michael (Marcie) Homeleski of Fishers, Indiana, his great nephews, Blayne and Tyler Homeleski and his great niece, Laura. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings; Stella, Judy, Walter, Arthur, and Alexander Jr. and his daughter Jackie Claeys. A graveside service and military honors will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 20, 2022, in the Mausoleum at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Goethals and Wells Funeral Home has been entrusted with Harry’s care.
