Theresa H (Wroblewski) Marshall

Theresa H Marshall, 94 years old, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Theresa was born October 4, 1928 in South Bend, to the late Frank and Hedwige (Zalas) Wroblewski. Theresa's mother passed away when she was seven years old, and she was lovingly raised by her maternal uncle and aunt, James and Sophie Zalas.
On October 29, 1955 Theresa married Casimir T. Marshall, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Lentych, Virginia Gapinski, Genevieve Lawson; brothers, Richard, Benny, Casimer Wroblewski, and twin-brothers, Ralph & Robert; aunt and uncle, James and Sophie Zalas.

Left to cherish the memory of Theresa are her children, Timothy (Gail) Marshall, Karen (Scott) Krause, Cynthia (David) Kapica, Paula (Douglas E. Jones, Jr) Marshall; grandchildren, Casey (Jason Hernandez) Krause, Thomas (Emily) Marshall, Corey (Brianna) Krause, Allison (Luke) Luther, Joslynn Jones, Douglas E. Jones, III; great-grandchildren, Taylor Marshall, Will Steckel, Maddie Steckel, Tahlia Hernandez, Tristan Hernandez, Harrison Krause, Laney Reign Luther; sister-in-law, Ann VanZant; and several nieces and nephews.

She retired from Kmart (Western Ave) in 1991 after working there for 17 years. Theresa was a parishioner of Holy Family Parish and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 357 Women's Auxiliary, and the Grandmothers Club. Theresa was an avid reader, and loved family poker games and all her Precious Moments. She was a very generous person, donating to several charities. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Theresa will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00pm on Monday, October 17, 2022 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd with a Rosary to be prayed at 5:00 pm. On Tuesday, October 18, there will be visitation from 9:00 am to 9:30 am in the Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
