Edward W. Leszczynski, 69, of Timber Lane, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 12:04 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka. Ed was born on April 10, 1929, In South Bend, Ind., to the late Bernice (Lenczoweki) and Edward Leszczynski.

On June 1, 1957, in Bristol, Ind., Ed married the former Alecia Teall, who also preceded him in death on May 13, 1982.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathryn (Tracy) Richardson and Jennie Leszczynski, both of Mishawaka; a grandson, Daniel White of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Robert Leszczynski of South Bend. Ed had been the owner/operator of the E and A Spring Inn In Mishawaka from 1978 to 1995.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 8 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
