John Stanley Kruk
John S. Kruk, 58, of 1905 S. Carlisle, died at 4:01 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 1979, at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was an inspector at A.M. General Corp. Ile was born July 6, 1920 in South Bend and had lived here all his life.
He was married Nov. 26, 1949 in South Bend to Lillian Sotkiewicz who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Kruk of South Bend; a daughter, Miss Georgianne Kruk,. at home; two sons, Michael of South Bend and John at home; a sister, Mrs. Henrietta Drabecki of South Bend and two brothers, Frank and Harry, both of South Bend.
He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Army and Navy Union, No. 146.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev. Albin L. Hosinski C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Funeral Home where a rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today.
