Edward John Stepien

Edward J. Stepien, 69, passed away at 9:21 pm, Monday, February 1, 2021 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Ed was born September 13, 1951 in South Bend to the late John and Mieczyslawa (Krzeminski) Stepien. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Merry Stepien and Nancy Stepien.

Left to cherish the memory of Ed are his daughters, Ariean (Steve) Farmer, and Tiffany (Cody) Buzek; grandchildren, Sommer & Grace Buzek, and Landon Farmer; brothers, Walt, Stan, Richard (Vickie) and sister, Adele Kretchmer.

Ed was a member of the Elks Club and participated in Lake of the Woods federation as well as the American Legion Post #191 in Bremen, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, theatre, family get together and holidays. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ed was a big football fan, he enjoyed watching football and making bets with his children, he referred to himself as "Big Ed".

Visitation for Ed will be from 3:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, February 5th, 2021 at ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00am Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, South Bend. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
