Cornell William "Corey" Maslowski

Cornell W. "Cory" Maslowski, 53, passed away Friday, January 7, 2005 at his residence. Cory was born in South Bend on February 22, 1951. He was preceded in death by his father, William Maslowski.

On May 8, 1976, Cory married Deborah Fye, who survives. Also surviving his mother, Helen Maslowski, three sons; Christian (Michelle) Maslowski of Indianapolis, IN., Brian Maslowski of Indianapolis, IN., and Danny (Lindsay Reynolds) Maslowski of South Bend.; one grandson, Camden Maslowski; one brother, Conrad (Carrrol) Maslowski of Kansas City, MO.; and two sisters, Cynthis (Craig) Wilson of Schererville, IN., and Claudia Maslowski of South Bend.

Cory was an active life-long member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church and belonged to Bowler's Country Club. He enjoyed gold, bowling and music of all kinds. Cory entertained thousands of people through his gift of music. He played the saxophone and guitar in the band "New Creation" for 25 years. After nearly 20 years of employment at the South Bend Community School Corporation, Cory touched the lives of many friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 from 2 to 8 p.m. in St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN. 46619/ wherea rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005 in St. Adalbert's Church, Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
