Mrs. Barbara (Bobbie) Ann Easton, 66, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend departed this life peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the comfort of her home. Barbara was born in Rolling Fork, Mississippi on October 12, 1955.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Helen B. (Brown) Topps, two brother’s Roosevelt Topps, Jr. and Larry Topps. Barbara was a member of Greater Saint John Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a greeter. She attended church services, Bible study and had a strong faith in God.

Barbara graduated from George Washington High School class of 1971 and holds degrees from CCHS and Lake Michigan College. She worked for Total Home Health as a Home Health Aide Technician where she received numerous awards and accolades for working
with the elderly and serving her community for more than 15 years. Barbara hobbies included cooking, shopping, and praying and reading her bible. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors left to cherish Barbara’s memories includes her husband of 27 years, Melvin E. Easton; her father, Roosevelt Topps Sr.; sister, Debbie Topps of South Bend, Indiana; brother, Glen Topps of Atlanta, Georgia; son Kahlil (Amanda) Easton of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter, Melissa Levy (Edgar) of South Bend, Indiana; son, Carl (Qiana) Levy Jr. of Lewisville, Texas; daughter, Mamie Levy of
Jamaica Queens, New York. Grandchildren: Amber, Alicia, Kahlil Jr., Cortez, Shaleah, Brandon, Carl III, Chloe, Colette, and Autumn; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives as well as friends.

The family of Barbara Easton gratefully acknowledges every act of sympathy, kindness and concern expressed during this difficult time.
