Linda Lee (Dahms) Ullery

January 9, 1954 ~ January 6, 2022 (age 67)

 

Linda Lee Ullery, passed away on Thursday with her family at her side.

Linda was born in South Bend, to the late Joan (Kromkowski) and Ronald G. Dahms.

On October 26, 1974 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church Linda married her high school sweetheart, Robert O. Ullery II, he survives along with their children, Terrie (Reed) Kipp of South Bend, and Jackie (Michael) Schroeder of Brookston.

Linda was proceeded by her parents, mother-in-law; Anne (DesJardin) Ullery, grandparents; Stanley (Josephine) Kromkowski, Lucille (Clyde) Frazier; brother-in-law Mark Base, nephew Shawn Mossell, Sam Styles (Elizabeth’s life partner) and many aunts and uncles.

Grandchildren; Austin (Stasia Beavo) Kipp, Zakary Kipp, Evelyn Kipp, Nicholas Schroeder, Jacob Schroeder, great-grandchildren; Kaila Harvey, Scarlett Tucker, Siblings; Gary (Mary) Dahms, Richard (Coyla) Dahms, Mark (Tammy) Dahms, Judy Mossell, Elizabeth Ullery, Patricia Base, Nieces & Nephews; Tanya (Clint) Osborn, Megan Radde, Eric (Danielle) Radde, Reshel (Wesley Jenkins) Dahms, Kali Dahms, Kendall Dahms, Bonnie Mossell, Aunt Lorraine Vargo, Aunt Claire Kromkowski, Uncle Danny (Dixie) Dahms and many cousins.

Linda also survived by a wonderful group of sewing friends. A special thanks to Cookie DeLauelle, Colleen Siupinski, and Crazy Pat Stivers for helping to organize and get my lovely brides unfinished projects completed.

Linda worked and retired from Erica’s craft and sewing after 25 years. She was a member of Saint Hedwig Parish, enjoyed her Friday Sewing Club, North Liberty Sewing Club, and Camp Tecumseh Sewing Camp.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hussain of Michiana Hematology & Oncology and his staff of caring nurses, Dr. Mize of Western Michigan Cancer Center and his staff, all the doctors and nurses from Saint Joseph Hospital, and The Center for Hospice Care for all they have done for Linda.

Visitation for Linda will be Sunday January 9, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm. A Mass will take place on Monday January 10, 2022 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church at 10:30 am. with a visitation one hour prior.
