Paul P. Sinka, 66, of Locust Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Hospice House.
Paul was born on Jan. 28, 1937, in South Bend, to Paul M. and Adeline C. (Bronski) Sinka, who both preceded him in death. Mr. Sinka was a lifelong resident of South Bend and was the owner of the former Meert's Meat & Dairy.
On Sept. 12, 1959, in South Bend, he married the former Kathleen Meert, who died on Nov. 13, 1991.
He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly K. Smith of South Bend; two sons, Paul L. (Tere) Sinka of South Bend and Steven M. Sinka of Mishawaka, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Amy Blad, Terry Riffle, Paul A. Sinka, Brittany Sinka, Bryant Sinka, Stephanie Sinka, Kristin Sinka and Andrew Sinka; three great-grandchildren, Bryce Blad, Brenden Davis and Jayden Riffle; and by a sister, Carol A. (Ray) Branchick of Elkhart, Ind.
