Joan Marie (Kazmierczak) Ostedt

Joan Marie was born on 25 March 1938 to parents Theodore "Ted" and Felicia "Phyllis" Kazmierczak (nee Bartkowiak) in South Bend, Indiana.

From 1956 – 1959, she worked at the Bendix Corporation in the Stationary Department and saved $3,000.

In August 1959, Joan married James Howard and they had 3 children together, Christopher, Sheree and Frederick. Christopher and Sheree born in South Bend, Indiana and Frederick born in Lafayette, Indiana.

Many moves later (Texas, Florida & Indiana) she tired of moving staying in Orlando, Florida and in 1990, they divorced. She was a member of the St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

On 13 April 1996, she married her next door neighbor Rohen Charles Ostedt. They were married 19 years until his death. With her new husband, they were active members of the Central Christian Church in Orlando, Florida.

On 30 March 2018, Joan moved in with her daughter Sheree who became her caregiver until she passed away on 21 May 2023.

Joan is survived by her daughter Sheree Loftus (nee Howard) who lives in Deltona, Florida, sons Christopher Howard who lives in Melbourne Village, Florida and Frederick Howard who lives in Hillsboro, Oregon. Grandchildren from Sheree includes Joseph, Nicholas and Tyler Loftus and from Christopher includes Kolbe and Parker Howard. Great grandchildren from Sheree includes Riley, Emma & Reed.
