MONON — Christine M Sorenson 57 of Monon died at 10:17 am Monday Sept 2 in White County Memorial Hospital Monticello.

Born Dec 18 1938 in South Bend she graduated from South Bend Washington High School in 1956. She also graduated from Holy Cross School of Nursing in South Bend and she attended Purdue University. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church of Reynolds. Mrs Sorenson had been a registered nurse for more than 25 years. She lived in Pocatello Idaho before coming to Monon 11 years ago.

Her marriage was to Paul B Sorenson on June 27 1970 in South Bend. He preceded her in death Jan 17 1986.

Surviving are four sons: Craig A Sorenson of Lafayette and Franklyn P Sorenson, Matthew W Sorenson, and Kyle S Sorenson all at home; a brother Gene Czarnecki of Westville and a sister Agnes Czarnecki of South Bend.
