Martha Louise DeCook

Ocala - Martha Louise DeCook passed away peacefully at her residence in Ocala FL, on September 19, 2021.

She was born to Willard and Mildred (Howell) Ingle on December 26, 1937 in Nappanee, IN. On February 25, 1956, she married the late Andrew R. DeCook, Sr. in LaGrange, IN. They were married for 57 years.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother survived by daughter, Cynthia Hoffer (Dennis) of Ocala, FL; son Andrew DeCook, Jr. of Port Orange FL; sister Betty James; sisters in law Audrey Janowczyk, Antoinette Youts, Sophie DeCook and Noreen Ingle; grandchildren Garrett Hoffer (Lorie), Casandra Stilwell (Chris), Perrin Smith and Rachel Maiorano; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald Ingle, Kenneth Ingle and Willard Ingle Jr.

She graduated from Washington High School in South Bend, IN and was trained as a secretary, working in the banking industry and retail sales.

She was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and was a member of the Mother Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast FL.
