Stanley Kendziorski III

Aug. 26, 1945 - Aug. 22, 2005

Stanley Kendziorski III, 59, of Trout Creek, Mont., passed away after a brief illness on Monday, August 22, 2005, in his home. Stanley was born on August 26, 1945, in South Bend, IN, the son of Stanley A. II and Vivian (Hadsell) Kendziorski.

Stanley grew up and attended school in South Bend and graduated from Washington High School in 1964. After graduating, he began working at the Simplicity Pattern Co. Stanley always enjoyed motorcycles; he eventually became a Harley mechanic and worked off and on for the next 25 years. In 1970 he met the love of his life, Mary Grochowski, and they were married three years later in South Bend. Stanley and Mary moved to Galien, Ml, in 1978, where Mary worked as a hairdresser and Stanley began working as a truck driver.

While in Michigan they had two children, Sarah and Stanley Anthony. After enjoying numerous vacations and hunting trips to Montana, Stanley decided the family should eventually make their home there. In 2001 this dream came true and they moved to Trout Creek. Stanley loved the outdoors; he specifically liked hunting and drag racing. He was a family man and provided a great outlook on life to many; his spiritual life was important to him.

He was also a fourth degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley II and Vivian. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Stanley Anthony of Trout Creek; a daughter, Sarah of Puyallup, WA; a sister, Peggy Kinze of South Bend, IN; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

A Rosary is planned for Friday, August 26, at 7 PM in St. William Catholic Church, Thompson Falls. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, August 27, at 10 AM in the church. Burial will follow at Whitepine Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bunch-Toews Funeral Chapel of Thompson Falls
