Sally Anne (Ogorek) Arnold
Sally Anne Arnold, 54, of South Bend died at 9:33 p.m. Monday, June 29th in her residence. Sally was born May 19, 1961 in South Bend to the late Pauline (Schenk) and Frank A. Ogorek and was a lifetime area resident. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sheryll Ogorek and Cynthia Knafel; and brother, Fred Ogorek.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Arnold (Crystal) of South Bend and David Arnold of Indianapolis; two sisters, Frances Jurek (Ray) of South Bend and Paulette Rinehart (Ken) of Fort Myers, FL; a brother, Frank W. Ogorek and his fiancée Dawn French of South Bend; and dear friends, Debbie and Kelvin Harris and Kevin West.
Sally was a devoted Christian and mother. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, woodworking, and crocheting, especially hats for premature babies. She also dearly loved her pets, spending time with family and friends, and never shied away from striking conversation with a stranger. Sally devoted a long career to 1st Source Bank, enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing softball and bowling, and watching Notre Dame and Colts football. She left a lasting impression on anyone she met, and always made time to lend a hand. Sally was extremely proud of her two sons and will be exceptionally missed by her family and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
