Linda Lynna Kanouse passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 76. She was born on August 2, 1948, to the late James Orvall and Imogene Scrogham.
Linda fashioned a successful career for herself in Retail Sales during which her diligence and commitment to customer service and satisfaction earned her numerous professional accolades and lifelong friendships throughout the years.
Beyond her professional life, Linda was always quick to the dance floor where her effortless rhythm and brilliant smile elevated any party. In the kitchen, her manicotti recipe was sure to please and many special occasions were highlighted with a batch of her delicious snickerdoodle or oatmeal and raisin cookies. Linda eagerly anticipated holiday events, and her meticulous planning made every celebration an event to remember.
Linda is survived by her sons Bryan (Amy) Kanouse of Rolling Prairie, James Kanouse, Jr., of Florida and her brother Jim Scrogham of Spring Hill, TN. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all.
