Sandra L. (Jozwiak) Neirynck

March 10, 1948 ~ October 5, 2026 (age 78)

Sandra L. (Jozwiak) Neirynck, 78, of Walkerton passed away peacefully on Monday October 5, 2026, at Holy Cross Rehab in South Bend.

Sandra was born on March 10, 1948, in South Bend to the late Edwin and Loretta (Krawczyk) Jozwiak.

She spent many years with Kmart as the Human Resources Director and was a beloved bus driver for South Bend Community School Corporation.

On April 30, 1984, she married Ronald Neirynck and the two have shared 42 years of marriage. Sandra is survived by her husband, Ron, her daughter, Michelle (Don) Zellers, son, William (Anne) Hatten, stepsons, Randy Neirynck and Brian (Veronica) Neirynck, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and her siblings; Denise (Tim) Zigler, Tim Jozwiak, and Mark (Jenny) Jozwiak.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David.

Visitation for Sandra will be held from 4pm-7pm on Monday October 12, 2026, at the Palmer Funeral Home inside the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan st. Lakeville  Rosary will begin at 4pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10am on Tuesday October 13, 2026, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 63568 IN-931 South Bend. Friends may visit for an hour prior to mass.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, P.O. Box 2528 South Bend, IN 46680.
