Kenneth Jasinski

Kenneth Jasinski

September 29, 1948 ~ December 29, 2025 (age 77)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Jasinski, local area educator, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disorder. Survived by his wife Diana, daughter Jane (Matt), and sons Jason and Jeff. Also survived by sister Joyce (Chris) and sister-in-law Debbie, brother in laws Steve (Marge) and Denny Rzepka.

Born in South Bend, Ken was a resident of the area his entire life. He attended local schools, and earned degrees from Bethel College and Indiana University, culminating in an Ed.S. in supervision and administration. His educational career spanned more than four decades as a teacher, coach, administrator, professor, and consultant, influencing countless students and colleagues.

Ken believed deeply in active, student-centered learning and took pride in the many paths his students pursued. A devoted Catholic, he served St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in numerous ministries. Above all, Ken was hopelessly devoted to Diana and immensely proud of his children. His life was defined by faith, service, and love.

In lieu of flowers please honors Ken’s belief “presence matters more than presents” by performing an act of kindness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m., on January 6, 2026 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family.
