Lawrence Van Lake

VANLAKE - Funeral services for Lawrence Van Lake, 33, of 529 Brookfield St.. who died Wednesday, Apr 24, 1963, will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in St. Adalbert's  Catholic Church with Very Rev. Msgr. Ignatius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. be in Highland Cemetery. He was a watchman at the State Highway Department garage.

Born on Jan. 6, 1930, in Mishawaka, he married Katherine Kratz on June 1 16, 1951, in Sacred Heart Church. She survives with his mother, Mrs. Mary Van Lake; South Bend; two sons, Gary and Raymond, and a daughter. SuAnn, all at home: three brothers, Raymond and Daniel, both of South Bend, and Maurice, of New Jersey; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Waelbroeck and Mrs. Richard Szczypski, both of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1222 Napier St.

He was a member of the Anchor Conservation Club and the Polish-Social and Civic Club
