Casmier P. “Casey” Trzop

Casmier P. “Casey” Trzop,73, 1950 S.13th St., Niles, Mich., passed away following an illness on Friday, Sept.17, at Butternut Road in South Bend, Ind. Casmier was born on Feb.8, 1931, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Francis (Piatek) Trzop. He was an honorably discharged veteran, serving in the Army, and served during the Korean War.He was an active member of the Niles American Legion Post 26 for many years. He was retired from Concord Cleaners and had worked for over 45 years.

Survivors include loving family and friends.

A dinner will be held in Casey’s memory at 5 p.m. (Mich.time) Thursday, Sept. 23, in Niles Eagle’s Lodge at 34 Sycamore St., Niles. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #26, 1707 Miller Drive, Niles, MI 49120. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown~Pifer Funeral Home & Cremation Services and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, Crematory and Gardens.
