Mary A. (Prikosovits) King
March 4, 1931 – Aug. 16, 2004
Mary A.King, 73, of Pulaski Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:05 a.m. Monday, Aug.16, in Memorial Hospital. Mary served as a board member of Sacred Heart Cemetery and also had been a caretaker of the cemetery with her husband for many years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and was a big Cubs fan.Mary was born on March 4, 1931, in South Bend, to Frank and Agnes (Csenar) Prikosovits.
On May 9, 1959, in South Bend, she married Richard “Dick”King, who died on May 20, 2002.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Prikosovich.
Surviving are four sons, Martin (Marcy) King and Michael King, both of South Bend, Richard (Cheryl) King and Thomas King, both of Mishawaka, Ind.;four grandchildren, Jillian, Allison, Christina and Ricky;two sisters, Agnes Prikosovits of South Bend and Elizabeth Prikosovits of Dallas, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Prikosovich of Nikitsch, Austria.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug.19, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m.today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S.Kemble Ave., where a Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Hungary Church Repair Fund or to the American Cancer Society
