Daniel Eugene “Baker” Piekarski

FORT WAYNE - Daniel E. “Baker” Piekarski, 85, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, in Heritage in Fort Wayne, IN. Daniel was born July 22, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Stanley & Helen (Kitkowski) Piekarski.

On Aug. 23, 1956, Daniel married Dorothy “Dotty” (Davis) Piekarski, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 8, 2014. Survivors include daughters, Jaqueline and Janice Piekarski; sister, Christine (Richard) Sobczak; and brothers, Tom (Gloria) Piekarski and Dick (Marsha) Piekarski.

Dan honorably served his country in the US Army. He was a professional Pianist and taught many people to play the piano. He won the State Lefty Golf Championship as well as many other championships in golf.

There will be no services at this time. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., is assisting the family. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
