SOUTH BEND - Donald R. Richards, 62, of Waukesha, Wis., formerly of South Bend, died Wednesday in Door County, Wis., of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Richards was the publisher of The Business Journal, Milwaukee. He was born Dec. 21, 1930, in South Bend.
He is survived by his wife, Iva (Mathwich) Richards of Waukesha; two sons, Jonathan D. of Madison, Wis., and Timothy J. Seattle; his mother, Clara P. Landuyt of South Bend; and a sister, Marlene Jansen of Toledo, Ohio.
He was president of Waukesha Area Chamber of Commerce and past vice president of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday in the church. Private burial will be Monday in Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. Friends may call after 2 p.m. until services on Sunday church. Randle-Dable Funeral Home, Waukesha, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Waukesha Symphony.
