Joseph Jachimiak, age 63 of Gordon Dr. died at 2:15 p.m. in Memorial Hospital after an illness. He retired as the owner of JJ Home Improvement Co. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.

Services at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church; burial at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. 

On 2 Oct 1954 he wed Patricia Odor who survives with 4 daughters: Mrs. Kathleen Rodick and Mrs. Jill Sells, both of South Bend; Mrs. Pamela Lauer of Atlanta and Mrs. Deborah Vascil of New Carlisle; eight grand-children
