Joseph Govaert
Joseph Govaert, 80, of Everett, passed from this life on January 24, 2011. Joseph was an avid photographer, gardener and most of all, loved the solitude of nature. Upon his retirement as a teacher from Mariner High School, he enjoyed the majority of his peaceful days at his Coyle "home" on the Hood Canal.
He leaves behind his 10 children, Chris, Sam, Kim, Kate, Carrie, Joe, Kelley, Carrol, John and Jay. He also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held on February 19, 2001. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Bethany of the Northwest Foundation, 425-551-6304.
