MONDAY DATE OF SERVICE FOR TRAIN VICTIMS Funeral services for Lascom Alfred. 67. of 56215 Pine Rd , and his son, Leslie Alford. 29. of Chicago. who were killed Wednesday morning when their car was hit by a New York Central Systern passenger train on Pine Rd., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Dinan Memorial Church of God in Christ. Bishop C. E. Bennett, pastor.; will officiate, and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Sheriff William J. Locks said today that an investigation by his department had established that the father was the driver.

Leslie was born on Aug. 30, 1930. in South Bend. and in 1953 in Chicago he married Beatrice Evans. who survives. Surviving besides the widow and his brother, sisters and mother are three sons, John L. residing in Dowagiac. and Gather K. and Bernard, both at home, and a daughter, Dawanda at home.

He was employed as a steel worker in Chicago.
