Paul M. Roberts Killed in Action At Quang Tri
Pvt. Paul M. Roberts, 20, son and Mrs. Andrew J. Roberts, 916 S. Lombardy Dr., was killed by mortar fire Saturday while serving with the Marine Corps at Quang Tri, Vietnam. He was born on July 8, 1947, in South Bend. Surviving besides his. parents are his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Vawter, and two brothers, Andrew I. and Thomas E., all of South Bend. The youth entered the Marine Corps in February, 1966.
He had attended Washington High School and completed his education while serving with the Marines. The Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
