Janice M. Schymanski

Janice M. Schymanski, 64, passed away January 1, 2017 in the Hospice House with her family by her side.

Janice was born December 13, 1952 in South Bend to John and Irene (Zagrzejewski) Schymanski. Her mother preceded her in death.

Survivors of Janice include her father, John Schymanski; sister, Judy (Chuck) Hofer; brother, John (Debbie) Schymanski; friend, Sally Cornwall; nieces, Becky Schymanski and Jackie Schymanski; and a god-daughter, Stefanie Zepik.

Janice worked for the South Bend Medical Foundation for many years. She enjoyed working outdoors while tending for her lawn and garden. Janice cared deeply for her family and spent the past few years caring for her father.

Visitation for Janice will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Friday, January 6, 2017 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial being Celebrated at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
