Pamela K. (Link) Schoonaert

SOUTH BEND – Pamela K. Schoonaert, 41, of 58451 Pam Drive, died at 11:07 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Schoonaert was employed by South Bend Community School Corp. as a second-grade teacher at Marquette School.

She was born April 10, 1953, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 25, 1974, in South Bend, she married Gary Schoonaert. He survives, with a daughter, Abigail at home, two sons, Brian and Andrew, both at home; her parents Pat and Jacob Link of South Bend; a sister, Betsy Luczhowski of Mishawaka; and a brother, Tim Link of Daunestown, Md.

She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a graduate of Indiana University South Bend.
